Statement
Through my artistic production, I aim to communicate the profound impact of human activities on various ecosystems. Drawing from scientific research, I approach themes such as human behavior, the extermination of living beings, and the artificialization and destruction of our environment. I address these issues in both a critical and poetic manner. While I acknowledge that I cannot change the world, this committed aspect of my work enables me to share my deepest concerns with a broad audience. Like many others, I humbly believe it is crucial for humanity to understand that we do not own nature, but are, in fact, an integral part of it. Staying true to these values, I emphasize circularity and the reuse of resources, predominantly using recycled materials to create ephemeral sculptures.
In a different vein, my production of functional pieces revolves around small series of hand-decorated items. I take pleasure in incorporating ornaments inspired by personal memories and anecdotes that bring me joy. In parallel, I am developing a collection of containers designed specifically to ferment and preserve food. For this, I use local clay sourced from excavation sites. This initiative seeks to help people regain food autonomy, while also giving new life to raw materials that would otherwise end up in landfill. Designed to withstand daily use, these pieces are intended not only to be functional but also to counteract overconsumption.
